What we do
The Lightbulb service helps support the residents of Leicestershire to remain safe and well in their own homes. Lightbulb brings together, a range of support such as aids and adaptations, energy advice, home safety, home improvements and support with the transition from hospital to home.
Hospital Enablement Team
If you (or someone living with you) need support after a recent hospital stay. We may be able to help with house clearance (including hoarding), support with future rehousing and negotiations with landlords around repairs and minor repairs.
Safe Spaces Team
The Safe Spaces Team supports you if you are affected by hoarding. We aim to help achieve and maintain a safer and less cluttered home environment.
Home Gadgets
The Home Gadgets Project aims to support vulnerable residents of Leicestershire using smart technology and gadgets to help keep safe, maintain independence, and support carers.
Disabled Facilities Grant
If you (or someone living with you) are disabled you may qualify for a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG).
